Aspirin through the blood vessels in the short term can rise to alleviate the effect of a headache, the drug does to the dull pain is better than the effect of sharp pain. Therefore, the drug can relieve dull pain of mild or moderate, such as headache, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain and dysmenorrheal. In general, aspirin works well for dull, throbbing pain; it is ineffective for pain caused by most muscle cramps, bloating, gastric distension, and acute skin irritation

It is used in the prevention of transient ischemic attacks, strokes, heart attacks, pregnancy loss, and cancer .
